  • Long after the shutter snaps

    There is absolutely no subsitute for capturing the perfect moments on film with the correct lighting and at the perfect angle, but there’s no shame in saying that the post-production work on a photo can make something normal become absolutely amazing. Instead of laboring in the darkroom over noxious chemicals (although, who’s with me in adoring the peace and strange smells of the dark room for hours on end?), photographers today can simply click an action pack in Photoshop and transform images instantly. In fact, some photog’s are selling their action packs to help ease the process for others.

    So what does it mean if your photographer is gifted in post-production? Well… take these “before and after” examples from Southern California photographer Becker to see what photoshop art can do:






    There’s a fine balance between good/bad Photoshop, but it definitely can add a distinctive touch to your wedding photos. Luckily there are a lot of photographers who are using it to their advantage and producing amazing images.
